YAY ! 🎉🎉CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN & ANDREW 🎉🎉 on your gorgeous baby girl DREW 💕💕💕💕👶 You both did an amazing job and Shawn I simply can’t imagine being in labour as long as you were....then have to have a C section.....you rock Shawn! ...I remember my first was about 8hours and second seemed to be half an hour...lol...it wasn’t, I was high on gas...but still only a few hours. You were so strong during that long labour you should be so proud ...me, the chicken had a pain killer straight away ! Usually the second birth is faster than the first so, on your next hopefully you want be in labour as long....unless you have to have a C section, then you won’t have to have the labour pains...... You both will be wonderful parents.....so loving and thoughtful and both your families all happy and helpful which will be a big support, for, if, and when, you need it.....just never feel bad at all...EVER for asking for some help....most people are grateful for any help they can get. Being new parents is a difficult, emotional, exhausting but amazing experience......all the best wishes to you all and enjoy every moment with your precious little bundle of love ....with lots of love from Australia xoxo💕💕💕😘😘😘

I just found and watched your, *going home vid* Hey man, no disrespect, but I could not believe that you kept on laying on that bed whilst your lady was left to *stand at the side of the bed* She really did look like she wanted to lay down. Yes baby was sleeping on you, but your lady just worked more than hard to push your 8lb+ baby into the world.... *Get off the bed man!!!* ... Also, in the car, the sun was shining directly onto baby. It is so *very, very* impotent to shield the baby from the sun when she is in the in the car and also the stroller! Uv rays can seriously damage a babies eyes, (even when closed) and skin. Keep the sun off, always!!!

Babies know one thing, that mama's chest is for eating. We have lots of bumps to lay on so they like daddy"s chest that is smoother. She loves her mama no matter what. I would like to add 2 more things that baby might need in the first couple weeks. They might need to be burped or they need the pacifier for the sucking action. My son cried almost non stop the first night home. We lived thru it!!

No joke. My first daughter was born VIA c-section after 35ish hours of labor. She was 20.5 inches and 8 lb 8oz!!! Congratulations!!!

Watching Shawn's mom hold her new granddaughter for the first time brought me tears of joy. It took me back to the first time I met and held my grandson. When your child has a child there is nothing that compares to the love you feel for both generations. And being a grandparent is absolutely magical!
